About Us
Safe Guard Medi-Systems Corp (SGMS) was founded in February 2005 and is located in Miami, Florida (Corp. HQ). SGMS provides lifesaving Medi-Chips that have a USB plug and can be inserted into any computer world wide to instantly display a persons medical history and information.

This information can be critical to any First Responder, Doctor or EMT in an emergency situation such as a car accident, stroke, heart attack, diabetic seizure and other life threatening situations. Since its inception, SGMS has been adding features and functionality to it array of products, and has recently added their newest PHR (Portable Health Record) or EMR (Emergency Medical Record), the Dog-Tag PHR. In sizes from 256mb up to 4 Gigs of storage, this new and novel prodcut was fashioned after the WW II dog tags worn by the GI's in service. Rugged and weather resistant, the Dog-Tag can stand up the severe abuse and comes with a chain to wear around your neck or it can be clipped onto your key ring. Either location, every first responder is trained to look on the neck, wrist or key ring for medical identification, and this Dog-Tag will not be overlooked.

Many people don't recognize the obvious signs of a stroke--and that's deadly. Each year over 700,000 Americans suffer these devastating "brain attacks" in which tissue is deprived of oxygen due to a burst or blocked blood vessel. Annualy, over 150,000 Americans die of stroke. Swift treatment is crucial to surviving a stroke and limiting its disabling effects, and that's why we at SGMS are offering you the chance to "save your own life".

Warning Signs: More than half of victims don't realize a stroke has caused their symptoms--even if they had a stroke before, a recent Mayo Clinic study found. Red Flags include sudden weakness on one side of the body, slurred speech or the inability to speak, numbness or tingling in an arm or a leg, and facial drooping. Keep worrying even if the symptoms come and go--that can indicate a transient ischemic attack (TIA), sometimes called a "mini-stroke", which typically precedes a permanent stroke..

Act Fast: Generally, the best hope of surviving and limiting the effects of a stroke is getting clot-busting drugs within three hours, and doctors have to take tests and find out your medical history before they can administer any lifesaving drugs. That is where your SGMS Medi-Chip called the "Life-Saver" comes in. It has all of your medical history so the doctors can immediately see your past medical history and review your test results. Now when they take their tests, they can compare the results to your past history and determine if in fact you did have a stroke or not, and that saves over 2 hours or more...and possibly your life.
